We are proud to say our own Head of Fraud, Security and Analytics, Katia Gonzalez, has been selected as one of Capacity Media’s inaugural Ambassadors, part of its emPOWERED Network. Aiming to be the most influential network for women in tech and telecoms, the emPOWERED Network hosts networking events and promotes inspiring content through its online community. Each one of its eight Ambassadors will help to set the vision of the network and steer the direction of the group’s content and events, aiming to drive meaningful connections and supporting others in the space. With over 15 years of expertise in the Mobile and Wholesale Telecom sector, Katia is a distinguished fraud specialist. As a leader in industry discussions and Chair of the i3 Forum, she actively shapes fraud prevention strategies while also advocating for gender equality within the telecom realm through her role as a founding member of The Inclusion Hub.

The i3forum is an industry body driving global collaboration and innovation, which brings together leading international service providers, voice carriers, and technology partners to provide valuable insights on the challenges, development, and growth of the telecommunications industry. As the current chair of i3forum’s Fight Fraud workgroup, Katia Gonzalez, leads collaborations across the telecommunications industry, aiming to promote both SMS and voice fraud awareness and set a better approach to resolve complex fraud issues.

BICS Head of Fraud & Advanced Analytics, Katia Gonzalez, elected as a member of the GSMA Fraud and Security group GSMA’s Fraud and Security Group (FASG) safeguards mobile technology from fraud and security risks. They drive adoption of security solutions, set industry standards, and assist in investigating incidents to protect networks, services, and customer privacy.
