The nominations are for ‘IoT Initiative of the Year’, ‘Managed Services Mastery’ and ‘MVNO Solution of the Year’
BICS has been shortlisted for no less than three 2024 Global Telecom Awards (Glotels) in testament to the team’s diverse contributions to the telecom industry.
Run by leading industry publication Telecoms.com, the Glotel Awards recognize companies advancing and innovating within the global telecoms industry. BICS won the ‘Connecting the Unconnected’ Glotel award in 2023, and following this success is thrilled to be shortlisted in three categories for 2024:
- IoT Initiative of the Year
- Managed Services Mastery
- MVNO Solution of the Year
The IoT Initiative of the Year award recognizes projects that demonstrate “significant advancements in the technology of IoT, or those that realized significant commercial benefits.” BICS has been nominated for its work supporting Engie Vianeo launch IoT-enabled charging stations across Europe.
Managed Services Mastery awards companies that demonstrate “innovation in managed service provision resulting in the most significant benefit to the customer.” BICS has been listed for its Managed Roaming Services, used by operators such as BITE Lithuania to gain an edge in an increasingly competitive market.
Finally, the MVNO Solution of the Year award marks companies or products that support the creation or growth of MVNOs. BICS has been nominated for its travel eSIM solution, which enables brands like Carrefour to operate as MVNOs.

Entries will be voted on by the Glotel Awards panel of independent judges, with the winners to be announced at an event in London on November 21st, 2024.
