Last year, on the 10th of March 2014, Dominique Leroy, CEO of Belgacom, announced that the telecommunication company was planning to group all the fixed, mobile and IT solutions under a single commercial brand, Proximus, previously representing the brand of its mobile telephony subsidiary. This resulted in Belgacom becoming Proximus. Further to this commercial rebranding, it recently has been decided to also rebrand the Belgacom Group, one of BICS' shareholders, into Proximus Group.
On this occasion, BICS is announcing that, from now on, the strapline a belgacom company on its official logo will be removed. This purely visual adaptation has no impact on BICS' mission, vision and values. We will continue to provide our customers high quality and reliable international communication services and solutions at the forefront of innovation and with a continuous focus on customer experience.
