Recognized for its expertise and impact on the global telecom sector, BICS has been nominated for Enterprise Service of the Year, and the Woman in Telecoms awards.

BICS is proud to announce its nomination for two categories in the well-respected World Communications Awards 2024:

  • Enterprise Service of the Year
  • Woman in Telecoms

Celebrating innovation and excellence in global telecoms since 1999, the awards are run by leading industry title, Total Telecom.

The Enterprise Service of the Year award seeks to recognize the most compelling service offered in the B2B sphere, and for BICS this year, considers our Travel eSIM offering and partnership with Carrefour.

The Woman in Telecoms award looks to identify standout women within the telecoms industry and their individual achievements and contributions, regardless of the type or size of their organization. BICS’ shortlisting for the Woman in Telecoms award puts the spotlight on nominee Katia Gonzalez, Director of Security Advocacy and Industry Engagement, and the role she plays in championing collaboration across the telecoms industry to proactively fight fraud.

“We are very proud of BICS to be in the running for such a prestigious industry award. It is such a pleasure to see the teams’ hard work recognized for their innovation and commitment to creating opportunities within the telecoms and enterprise spheres.” – Gabriel Salvate, Head of CS and PS Enterprise, BICS.  “eSIMs are an exciting advancement for global connectivity, for industry and consumers alike. The latter has yet to truly realize the benefits of eSIMs, but with BICS making it so easy for brands to integrate eSIM and global connectivity into their offerings and their digital experience, that will quickly change and we are excited to be part of it.”

“Being shortlisted for the Woman in Telecom award is fantastic recognition when you consider the impressive profiles of the other candidates. A big thank you to the World Communications awards for supporting the presence of women in the telco sector and, good luck to my fellow nominees!” – Katia Gonzalez, Director of Security Advocacy and Industry Engagement, BICS.

BICS’ shortlist nominations this year come one year after winning the Cloud Award together with SK Telecom, in November 2023.
